- An Indiana Appellate Court recently held that “a professional owes no duty to one with whom it has not contracted unless the professional has actual knowledge that the third party would rely on the professional’s opinion or service. Thomas v. Lewis Eng’g, Inc.,848 N.E.2d 758, (Ind.App2006)
